The Colorado Medical Society (CMS) is seeking nominations for a Resident/Fellow representative to serve on its Board of Directors. The position carries a one-year term, with the possibility of reappointment each year until the nominee completes their residency or fellowship.

Board meetings are scheduled quarterly in March, June, September, and December. These sessions take place on Friday afternoons from 1 to 5 p.m. Participants have the option to attend either in person at the CMS office or annual meeting location, or virtually via Zoom. In preparation for each meeting, members are expected to review board materials ahead of time, which adds approximately one hour per meeting to the overall time commitment.

CMS will reimburse mileage expenses for any board member who travels more than 50 miles to attend a meeting. Additionally, overnight hotel costs are covered for those traveling over 150 miles or when board business extends over two days.

To be eligible for nomination, candidates must be current residents or fellows located in Colorado and must hold active membership with CMS. Membership is free for residents and fellows.
