Motorists traveling in Pueblo should prepare for a weekend closure of eastbound US Highway 50B. The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), along with SEMA Construction, will close the stretch between I-25 and Hudson Avenue/Bonforte Boulevard to install new drainage pipes beneath the highway. This work is part of the ongoing Interstate 25 and US 50B Interchange project.

According to CDOT, the closure is necessary to ensure public safety during construction activities. Drivers are advised to use a detour via northbound I-25, taking the US 50B/CO 47 off-ramp and then traveling east on CO 47 (Exit 101) to access US 50.
