The U.S. Census Bureau will hold a webinar on Tuesday, January 20 at 1:30 p.m. ET to discuss updates to the methodology for the Vintage 2025 population estimates.

The Population Estimates Program (PEP) is responsible for developing official estimates of population and housing units for the Census Bureau. Each year, PEP creates a time series of estimates that begins with the most recent decennial census and continues through the vintage year, which is the latest year for which estimates are available.

According to the Census Bureau, “Learn more about the population estimates and updates to the methodology for the Vintage 2025 estimates series at this webinar.”

The upcoming webinar will provide details on changes in methodology that will affect how population data is calculated and reported in the Vintage 2025 series.
