Registration is now open for the 55th International Convention of the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists (CBTU), and members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) are invited to participate. The convention will take place at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, located at 265 Peachtree Street in Atlanta, Georgia.

The CBTU Convention gathers trade unionists from across the United States to discuss important labor issues. At last year’s event, IAM members took part in workshops on organizing, conflict resolution, leadership development, building power, and sharing strategies aimed at strengthening both their union and the broader labor movement.

A special group room rate of $185 per night, plus applicable taxes, is available for attendees at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta. The deadline to reserve rooms at this rate is April 24, 2026. Reservations require a one-night credit card deposit that can be refunded if canceled by April 15, 2026. After April 24, reservations will depend on availability and may be subject to higher rates.

Hotel reservations can be made through the official CBTU booking link or by calling 1-877-803-7534 and referencing CBTU. Online booking is encouraged as the preferred method.
