The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will conduct maintenance on US Highway 160, also known as South Camino Del Rio, between Santa Rita Park and Three Springs in Durango. The work is scheduled for October 1 and 2, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

According to CDOT, the maintenance involves patching potholes along the corridor. Lane shifts and closures will occur intermittently throughout the area to ensure worker safety during the operation.

Motorists are advised to expect congestion, delays, and slower speeds while traveling through this section of US 160 during the maintenance period.

“Motorists traveling through Durango along South Camino Del Rio (US 160) should anticipate delays and slower speeds from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Oct. 1 and 2 for pothole patching operations,” stated CDOT.
