The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) is organizing two public open houses to provide updates on the Federal Boulevard Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project. The Federal Boulevard corridor, known as one of the busiest transit routes in the Denver metropolitan area, is the focus of this proposed project aimed at improving transit speed and reliability for thousands of daily riders.

Community members attending the events will have the opportunity to learn about the preliminary design for the BRT, proposed station locations, station design concepts, and upcoming steps in the project. CDOT staff and project team members will be present to answer questions from attendees. Food and beverages will be offered, along with activities for children.

The first open house is scheduled for Wednesday, October 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. at The MAC, located at 3295 W. 72nd Ave., Westminster, CO 80030. The second event will take place on Thursday, October 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Westwood Community Center at 1000 S. Lowell Blvd., Denver, CO 80219.
