All administrative offices of the City of Colorado Springs are closed on Friday, January 9, due to winter weather. The closure also affects the Colorado Springs Municipal Court. People who had court or jury duty scheduled for that day must reschedule by calling 719-385-5928 or visiting the court when it reopens.

Mountain Metro bus service and Metro Mobility ADA Paratransit service are delayed until 8 a.m., with possible further delays if weather conditions worsen.

Several city parks, including Garden of the Gods, North Cheyenne CaƱon, and Palmer Park, are closed to vehicle traffic.

Emergency responders and essential city personnel will continue working as usual. The Public Works Operations & Maintenance Division is actively clearing primary and secondary roads. Drivers are advised to allow extra travel time, use caution near snowplows, give them space to pass, and maintain a safe distance because crews have limited visibility.

Updates will be posted on ColoradoSprings.gov and shared through official social media channels such as Twitter/X (@CityofCOS, @CSFDPIO, @CSPDPIO, @MountainMetro) and Facebook (Facebook.com/CityofCOS, Facebook.com/COSpringsParks).
