Free parking will be available in Downtown Colorado Springs and Old Colorado City on several key dates during the holiday season, according to a recent announcement from city officials. On Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, and Small Business Saturday, parking at city-owned garages, lots, and metered spaces will be offered at no cost.

The initiative also includes free parking on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day in both areas. Additionally, for the Festival of Lights event scheduled for Saturday, December 6, downtown city-owned garages will provide complimentary parking from 3 to 11 p.m.
