Jason Justus has been appointed as President of St. Catherine Hospital – Dodge City, St. Catherine Hospital – Garden City, and Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital, according to an announcement from CommonSpirit Health. His appointment is effective October 6, 2025.

Justus will be responsible for guiding the strategic direction and operations of all three hospitals in Southwest Kansas. Pete Powers, President of the Greater Colorado and Kansas Market at CommonSpirit Health, said, “We are delighted to welcome Jason Justus to lead our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. Jason’s proven leadership and extensive experience in hospital administration will be instrumental in driving strategic initiatives and advancing our commitment to serving the health needs of our communities.”

Before joining CommonSpirit Health, Justus held several leadership roles at Pomerene Hospital in Millersburg, Ohio. He served as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Finance Officer during his time there. He was recognized for his inclusive approach to leadership and dedication to organizational goals.

Justus holds a Master of Business Administration from Ashland University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance & Management Information Systems from Ohio University.

Powers added: “We have an exciting future ahead of us in Kansas. We are confident that Jason’s leadership will usher in a new era of success and innovation for our hospitals and the communities we proudly serve.”

Outside work, Justus enjoys spending time with his family—including his wife Debra, two daughters, and three grandchildren—traveling, participating regularly in CrossFit training sessions, golfing, shooting sports, fishing, and reading.
