The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will begin repairs on a culvert along US Highway 50 in Cañon City starting December 8. The work is scheduled to take place on a two-mile section of the highway, from 15th Street to Justice Center Road, covering mile points 279.33 to 281.65. The project aims to improve drainage infrastructure and is expected to be completed by the end of March.

Insituform Technologies, LLC has been selected as the contractor for this project, which has a budget of $1.45 million.

A map provided by CDOT shows that the construction zone starts at 15th Street and ends at Justice Center Road.
