On October 17, 2025, Davis Mortuary and Davis Crematory, represented by Brian Cotter, permanently gave up their registrations to operate as a funeral home and crematory in Colorado. The action is equivalent to a revocation of their licenses. According to the agreement, Davis Mortuary, Davis Crematory, and Brian Cotter will not seek any future registration or licensure with the Colorado Office of Funeral and Mortuary Science Services.
