Dublin Boulevard reopened Wednesday evening between Fieler Drive and Issaquah Drive after being closed for three months. The closure was part of the Dublin Boulevard Improvement project, which aims to improve safety, mobility, and connectivity for all users and address the community’s long-term transportation needs.

The project, originally expected to be completed in fall 2026, is now scheduled to finish by spring. The faster timeline is mainly due to the road closure that reduced construction time by over four months.

Construction continues in phases between Mustang Rim Drive and Marksheffel Road. Drivers are advised to expect traffic shifts and lane closures on Dublin Boulevard during the fall season.

Work is ongoing between Fieler Drive and Mustang Rim Drive, including new sidewalks. Pedestrians will encounter sidewalk closures and detours. The final asphalt layer and permanent lane striping will be added once work east of Issaquah Drive is finished.

During the full closure, several milestones were reached:
– Water mitigation was completed for an underground spring west of Peterson Road to address recurring water and ice issues.
– Dublin Boulevard was expanded to two lanes in each direction with turn lanes from Fieler Drive to east of Mustang Rim Drive.
– The intersection at Dublin Boulevard and Peterson Road was reconstructed.
– More than 90% of the storm sewer system for the project was built.
– Nearly all water line relocation work was finished.
– Road reconstruction between Mustang Rim Drive and Issaquah Drive was accelerated.

With Dublin Boulevard now open, Issaquah Drive north of Dublin Boulevard will be closed for about three weeks for trenching and road work. Mustang Rim Drive remains open at Dublin Boulevard, providing access to Renaissance at Indigo Ranch community as well as serving as an alternate route for businesses if primary access is missed. Issaquah Drive south of Dublin Boulevard is not affected by this work.
