East Las Vegas Street will be closed for three weeks beginning Monday, January 26, between Janitell Road and U.S. Highway 85. The closure is necessary to allow crews to demolish the current eastbound railroad bridge as part of the Circle Drive Bridges project.

The work may also take place on weekends during the closure period. Officials advise that northbound travelers use Highway 85 North or Venetucci Boulevard to Circle Drive in order to find alternative routes. For those heading south, access to Janitell Road remains available, with additional southbound detours via Circle Drive.

Project managers note that the schedule depends on weather conditions and may change accordingly. Updated information will be provided through street signage and the project hotline at 719-428-7090.

Residents seeking more details about the Circle Drive Bridges project can visit ColoradoSprings.gov/CircleDrBridges or contact the team by phone or email.
