EchoStar Corporation has reported its financial results for the second quarter and first half of 2025. The company posted total revenue of $3.72 billion for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, and $7.60 billion for the six months ended June 30, 2025.

Hamid Akhavan, president and CEO of EchoStar Corporation, stated, “EchoStar performed well in the second quarter and was in line with our high performance expectations. Our Retail Wireless business continues to make progress and we have now had five consecutive quarters of growth with our Boost Mobile brand. Our Pay-TV ARPU and churn rate improvement continues to impress, and our enterprise business is gaining ground globally within the aviation sector as the industry’s only future-proof in-flight connectivity solution.”

The company’s segment revenues for the second quarter included approximately $935 million from wireless services—primarily Boost Mobile—and about $2.46 billion from pay-TV services such as DISH TV and Sling TV. Broadband & Satellite Services generated around $340 million in revenue during the same period.

Compared to the previous year’s second quarter, total revenue declined from $3.95 billion to $3.72 billion. For the first half of 2025, revenue decreased from $7.97 billion in 2024 to $7.60 billion this year.

Net loss attributable to EchoStar was reported at $306 million for the three months ended June 30, compared to a net loss of $206 million in last year’s corresponding period.

The company’s OIBDA (Operating Income Before Depreciation and Amortization), a non-GAAP measure used by management to evaluate operating profitability excluding depreciation and amortization expenses, was reported at approximately $280 million for Q2 2025 versus about $442 million in Q2 2024.

EchoStar’s cash flow from operating activities totaled roughly $214 million for the first six months of 2025, down from about $931 million over the same period last year.

As of June 30, EchoStar reported total assets of nearly $59.9 billion compared to approximately $60.9 billion at December 31, 2024.
