Beginning at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 10, the center lanes of Garden of the Gods Road east of Interstate 25 will be closed for overnight construction work. The closure is scheduled to last until 5 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11. During this period, at least one lane in each direction will remain open.

Drivers are advised to exercise caution near Northpark Drive and Mark Dabling Blvd., where safety barriers will be set up and heavy equipment, signage, artificial lighting, and workers may be present.

The ongoing project involves installing new traffic lights at Northpark Drive and Mark Dabling Boulevard with the goal of improving safety for both drivers and pedestrians.

More information about the project can be found at ColoradoSprings.gov/GOGmedians.
