On Giving Tuesday, people around the world are encouraged to give back to their communities and support charitable organizations. This year, Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines (GDA | TLC), a charity supported by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM), launched its Holidays of Hope fundraiser.

The organization is seeking donations to help provide service dogs for individuals in need. According to GDA | TLC, contributions made during this campaign will assist military veterans with PTSD, people who are blind or visually impaired, and children with autism. The group emphasizes that each donation helps bring confidence, love, and hope through the companionship of a service dog.

“Each donation you make today will directly benefit a military veteran with PTSD, a person who is blind or visually impaired, or a child with autism who needs the life-changing confidence, love, and hope that a service dog provides,” said GDA | TLC in its statement.

IAM continues to promote Guide Dogs of America as its preferred charity and encourages supporters to participate in Giving Tuesday by making donations.
