IAM District 837 and Boeing Defense are set to resume negotiations on Monday, according to a statement released by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) District 837. The discussions will be facilitated by a federal mediator as both parties seek to resolve the ongoing strike.

“The bargaining committees for Boeing and IAM 837 have agreed to return to negotiations on Monday with the help of a federal mediator in an effort to find a path to end the strike,” the union stated.

The IAM represents about 600,000 active and retired members working in sectors such as aerospace, defense, airlines, shipbuilding, rail, transit, healthcare, automotive, and other industries throughout North America.
