The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) has announced an extension for the registration deadline for its 2025 Retirees Conference. The event, scheduled for October 20-22, 2025, will be held at the Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront in Cocoa Beach, Florida.

Organizers have moved the registration cutoff to Monday, September 15, 2025. The conference is expected to bring together retirees and future retirees from across North America to foster community and discuss ways to enhance retiree engagement within the union.

This year’s theme is “Leaders and Legends.” According to organizers, it aims to recognize the contributions of IAM retirees while preparing members for future challenges. “This gathering is more than just a conference; it is also a celebration of solidarity and strength. Retirees and future retirees from across North America will come together to build community, share experiences, and strategize on how to elevate retiree engagement within our union,” said event representatives.

Attendees can expect guest speakers, breakout sessions focused on key issues facing retirees, and networking opportunities with fellow IAM members. A special tour of NASA’s Kennedy Space Center is planned as part of the program on Wednesday, October 22.

The IAM encourages interested participants to register before the new deadline.
