The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) has reminded its members about the availability of Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) during the holiday season. The union emphasized support for members and their families, noting that this time of year can be difficult for some individuals.

According to the IAM, there are two separate EAPs available to provide confidential, 24/7 support to members. In a statement, the organization said, “As we move through the holiday season, we wish every member and their families a happy holidays. We support you, your family, and your loved ones through what can be a challenging time.”

The IAM also highlighted additional resources accessible to everyone in need. The National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is available by dialing 988 or by texting 988. More information can be found at 988lifeline.org. In emergency situations where immediate help is required, individuals are encouraged to call 911.
