For the fifth consecutive year, the IAM Local 1746 Women’s Committee and the IAM Union Eastern Territory have worked with East Hartford Public School in Connecticut to support a backpack rally event. Volunteers from IAM Local 1746 and the Eastern Territory collected donations, packed backpacks, and took part as a vendor during the distribution day. At the event, they distributed thousands of items including pencils, pens, rulers, activity books, stickers, and other supplies.
