IAM Local SC 711 members employed by M1 Support Services and its subcontractors at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas have ratified a new three-year collective bargaining agreement. The contract, effective January 1, 2026, covers workers across 29 job classifications including aircraft mechanics, avionics technicians, supply clerks, and librarians.
The agreement includes an 11.4% compounded wage increase over the contract period—4.5% in the first year, followed by 3.5% and then 3%. Workers will also receive increased paid leave with eight additional hours of sick leave for all members. Other provisions include a 5% rise in 401(k) contributions, maintained IAM pension benefits, an extra $390 per month earned during the contract’s duration, and company-paid increases in rehabilitation plans. New language has been added to protect overtime pay and establish on-call and standby pay provisions.
“This contract reflects the dedication and unity of our membership at Nellis, and the strength of our union’s voice at the bargaining table,” said IAM Western Territory General Vice President Robert “Bobby” Martinez. “The negotiating committee fought hard to deliver the wages, benefits, and protections our members not only need, but absolutely deserve. I thank the committee for their efforts, our members for standing strong, and IAM Aerospace Coordinator Denise Heath, whose expertise and steady guidance were key to securing this strong agreement.”

IAM Local SC 711 became an independent local in 2016 after previously being part of another local located more than 25 miles away; forming their own local was seen as a way to better represent specific needs and strengthen shop floor presence.
