IAM Union members from across Minnesota gathered at IAM District 77 for the Minnesota State Council during a three-day meeting that began on March 24. The event focused on key issues affecting working families in the state.
The gathering brought together union representatives and members to address challenges and priorities faced by workers. The discussions aimed to strengthen advocacy efforts for labor rights and improve conditions for union members statewide.
The meeting opened with remarks from IAM International President Bryan Bryant, who was followed by IAM Midwest Territory General Vice President Sam Cicinelli. Their comments set the tone for meaningful conversations about the needs of unionized workers in Minnesota.
Throughout the three days, participants engaged in discussions designed to identify solutions and strategies for advancing worker interests. The event also included opportunities for networking and sharing experiences among local unions.
The Minnesota State Council is one of several initiatives organized by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) to support its membership across different regions. These meetings provide a platform for collaborative problem-solving within the labor movement.
As attendees concluded their sessions, they reaffirmed their commitment to advocating on behalf of working families throughout Minnesota.
