The Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and Brannan Sand and Gravel, LLC will begin resurfacing a section of the Interstate 70 Eisenhower-Johnson Memorial Tunnels starting Sunday night, September 14. The project is expected to continue through late October in Clear Creek and Summit Counties.

During the construction period, traffic in the tunnels will alternate overnight, which may result in delays of up to 30 minutes for drivers. The work aims to improve road conditions in this critical mountain corridor.
