Families in the Colorado Springs area are invited to attend the fourth annual Rocky Ram’s Holiday Spectacular on Saturday, November 15, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held at the Crystal Gift Shop, located at mile 6 on the Pikes Peak Highway.

The celebration is free and open to all ages. Activities include photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus, face painting, games, and a Touch-a-Truck experience featuring rangers from Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain. Children can participate in writing letters to Santa and mailing them onsite. Complimentary hot chocolate and cider will be available for attendees.

In partnership with the United States Forest Service Pikes Peak Ranger District, families will have an opportunity to take home a freshly cut Christmas tree that has been harvested as part of fire fuels mitigation efforts on the mountain.

Interactive ranger talks will provide information about forest health and fire mitigation. The event aims to offer both entertainment and educational experiences for families.

“The Holiday Spectacular is one of our favorite ways to celebrate the season and thank the community for supporting Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain,” said Skyler Rorabaugh, manager of Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain. “It’s a fun, relaxed way for families to make memories together in an unforgettable place, snow or shine.”

The event will proceed regardless of weather conditions. Organizers recommend dressing warmly due to possible mountain snow. Entry fees for Pikes Peak Highway will be waived during the event.
