Construction to improve safety at intersections on Garden of the Gods Road will resume on Monday, January 5. The work will begin with closures in the eastbound lanes near Northpark Drive and Mark Dabling Boulevard.

At least one lane in each direction will remain open during the construction. Drivers are advised to be cautious in these areas, as safety barriers will be installed and there will be heavy equipment, signage, and workers present.

The project includes installing new traffic signals aimed at improving safety for both drivers and pedestrians. Construction is expected to finish by late January 2026.

Further information about the project can be found at ColoradoSprings.gov/GOGmedians.
