Sling TV launches nationwide Select service with curated channels at $19.99 per month

Sling TV has introduced a new service called Select, expanding its range of live streaming television offerings. The company announced that Select is now available across the United States for $19.99 per month. This new package provides access to a variety of popular live and on-demand channels, including Fox News, National Geographic, GRIT, NFL Network, FX, FS1, METV, Game Show Network, Heroes & Icons, Lifetime Movie Network and Vice. It also includes select 4K content from FOX and FS1.

Subscribers in certain markets will have access to local broadcast stations such as ABC, NBC and FOX. There is an additional monthly fee depending on the number of local channels provided: $5 for one or two channels and $10 for all three.

“Sling Select is perfect for customers who want a streamlined, cost-effective way to enjoy the channels they love,” said Seth Van Sickel, Senior Vice President of Product and Operations at Sling TV. “With the freedom to choose what you watch and how much you pay, Sling continues to lead the way in TV that works for real people.”

The launch of Select comes alongside expanded options for subscribers to personalize their viewing experience through premium channel upgrades and add-on packages. Customers can further customize their subscriptions by selecting from various genre-based extras.

Sling TV’s main services now include Sling Orange, Sling Blue and Sling Select. The platform continues to provide flexible streaming solutions aimed at those seeking alternatives to traditional cable television.
