Sling TV has announced the formation of its first “Stream Team,” a group of 10 college football players who have each signed one-day Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deals for $4.99. This amount matches the price of Sling’s new Day Pass subscription.

The move comes after Sling TV introduced new short-term subscription options for its Sling Orange service, including Day, Week, and Weekend Passes. The company is positioning this initiative as an alternative to traditional NIL deals that often involve large sums or major endorsements.

“This program proves you don’t need to spend big to show up big,” said Seth Van Sickel, Senior Vice President at Sling TV. “We built our new passes to give fans flexibility, and the Stream Team celebrates the same idea. You can still be part of the action without signing your life (or your wallet) away.”

The 2025 Stream Team includes athletes from several prominent college football programs:

– Nikhai Hill-Green, Linebacker, University of Alabama
– Will Straka, Linebacker, Boston College
– Christopher Vizzina, Quarterback, Clemson University
– Jacob Hardie, Running Back, University of Georgia
– Miles Thornton, Wide Receiver, University of Georgia
– Andy Bass, Running Back, University of Oklahoma
– Jakeb Snyder, Slot Receiver, University of Oklahoma
– Wesley Watson, Wide Receiver, Texas A&M University
– Brycen Coleman, Tight End, Vanderbilt University
– Brock Taylor, Kicker, Vanderbilt University

Sling TV is also inviting fans to participate in its “Stream Team” sweepstakes through September 26. Fans can enter online at sling.com/NILDayPass for a chance to win their own $4.99 NIL deal and a year-long Sling Orange subscription.

“College football’s superfans are its beating heart,” Van Sickel said. “We’re excited to showcase their passion, unique personalities and unwavering loyalty. We’re proud to officially welcome them into the Sling family.”

Sling TV offers live streaming services with more than 700 channels across general market and international packages. The company provides flexible subscription options and access to free content via Sling Freestream. Sling TV is a subsidiary of EchoStar Corporation.
