UCHealth facilities and affiliated providers will be included in several Medicare Advantage and Connect for Health Colorado plans in 2026, increasing access to care for Colorado residents. The annual Medicare open enrollment period begins on October 15 and ends December 7, with new coverage starting January 1.

Patients eligible for Medicare can continue to receive in-network care at UCHealth facilities through traditional Medicare and Medicare Supplement Plans. For the 2026 plan year, UCHealth will be an in-network provider for Select Health Medicare Advantage, Aetna Medicare Advantage, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield Medicare Advantage, Humana Medicare Advantage, and United Healthcare Medicare Advantage.

Additionally, Kaiser Permanente Medicare Advantage will include select UCHealth locations in its network, such as University of Colorado Hospital in metro Denver and all UCHealth facilities in Colorado Springs and Pueblo.

UCHealth is no longer considered in-network for Cigna Medicare Advantage (also known as Healthspring Medicare Advantage) or Devoted Health Medicare Advantage plans.

For those seeking coverage through Connect for Health Colorado, open enrollment runs from November 1 through January 15, with new plans effective January 1. People looking for comprehensive coverage that includes all UCHealth facilities, University of Colorado Medicine providers, Intermountain Health, and other affiliates may consider Select Health Value and Select Health Value CO Option plans. Select Health is a joint offering from UCHealth and Intermountain Health. Anthem Pathway plans also include UCHealth and CU Medicine providers in their networks.

However, UCHealth providers and facilities are not part of any Anthem Pathway Essentials plans. The Anthem Pathway Colorado Option is not available in metro Denver or Boulder counties this year.

Additional health insurance plans that cover select UCHealth facilities vary by region:

– In Colorado Springs and Woodland Park: Select Health Value, Anthem Pathway, Cigna Connect, Kaiser KP Select cover Memorial Hospital Central, Memorial Hospital North, Grandview Hospital, and Pikes Peak Regional Hospital.
– In Pueblo: Select Health Value, Anthem Pathway, Kaiser KP Select include Parkview Medical Center and Parkview Pueblo West.
– In Fort Collins, Loveland, and Greeley: Select Health Value, Anthem Pathway, Cigna Connect offer access to Poudre Valley Hospital, Medical Center of the Rockies, and Greeley Hospital.
– In Steamboat Springs: Select Health Value, Anthem Pathway, Anthem Mountain Enhanced, Rocky Mountain Health Plans RMHP Valley provide coverage at Yampa Valley Medical Center.

Many of these plans also feature Colorado Option offerings. Individuals can compare insurance options and check eligibility for financial assistance on the Connect for Health Colorado website (https://connectforhealthco.com/).
