The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) will launch the 2025 Campus & Workplace Climate (CWC) Survey on October 22, with participation open through November 12. The survey is designed to collect feedback from students, faculty, and staff about their experiences on campus and in the workplace. According to UCCS, the information gathered will help guide future efforts to ensure all members of the university community feel respected and supported.

The CWC survey was first implemented across the University of Colorado system in 2021. Insights from that initial survey led to a number of initiatives at UCCS aimed at supporting students’ basic needs, expanding mentorship opportunities, and promoting wellness programs. Examples include the expansion of Clyde’s Cupboard food pantry, Fresh Food Fridays, Mountain Lion Meals, and new programs like Wellness Champion and MOSAIC Scholar.

Jennifer Sobanet, Chancellor of UCCS, stated: “The insights gathered will guide efforts to create a campus where every individual feels respected, supported, and valued.”

Participation in the survey is voluntary and responses are anonymous. Unique links will be emailed to all eligible participants on October 22. Anyone who does not receive an email can contact [email protected] for assistance. The survey takes approximately 15 minutes to complete and can be accessed on smartphones or computers; computers are available for use at Kraemer Family Library during regular hours.

To encourage participation, respondents can opt into drawings for parking passes, dining vouchers, and gift cards for various campus venues after completing the survey. The Office of Strategic Initiatives will also host several tabling events during the survey period with refreshments provided on October 27, November 3, and November 11.

Survey results are expected to be released in spring 2026 and will inform ongoing university initiatives related to wellbeing and belonging.

For additional details or questions about participation, individuals are directed to visit the CWC website or contact [email protected].
