The Board of Regents has completed its scheduled review and approved revisions to certain University of Colorado laws and policies during a meeting held on February 5. The revised policies include Policy 13.D, which addresses the defense and indemnification of university employees, and Policy 13.E, concerning fiscal misconduct.

In addition to these changes, the board reviewed several other policies but recommended no changes. These are Policy 1.B, which outlines guiding principles; Policy 2.E, related to faculty, staff, and student representatives to the Board of Regents; and Policy 14.B, which governs the use of the university’s name and marks in advertising and marketing by external entities.

This review was part of the Board of Regents’ ongoing five-year schedule for examining regent laws and policies. More information about the specific changes can be found in the policy justifications and redline drafts available at https://www.cu.edu/regents/rlpreview#tabs-2.
