Viasat partners with GReD to expand geospatial monitoring capabilities

Geomatics Research & Development (GReD) has joined Viasat’s ELEVATE program, aiming to advance geospatial monitoring through the integration of high-precision GNSS technology and sensor solutions. GReD specializes in infrastructure monitoring systems that deliver millimeter-level accuracy and real-time data on structural and environmental conditions.

The partnership is expected to improve operational efficiency and early warning capabilities in sectors such as power, transportation, defense, and agriculture. GReD’s approach focuses on continuous automated monitoring, with expertise spanning geohazard surveillance and sustainable Earth exploration.

Eugenio Realini, CEO of GReD, commented on the collaboration: “Partnering with Viasat through the ELEVATE program represents an important opportunity to amplify our impact by integrating our high-precision GNSS technologies into a broader ecosystem of satellite-connected solutions.”
